Defending champion Maccabi Playtika Tel-Aviv (Winner League) has signed 25-year old American 188cm point guard Saben Lee from Manisa Basket. Lee, who played college basketball at Vanderbilt, started the season strong with impressive performances in both the Turkish BSL league and the Basketball Champions League.
In the 2020 NBA draft, Lee was selected by the New York Knicks in the second round (38th overall). The talented guard is now in his fifth professional season, having previously played for teams like the Detroit Pistons, Phoenix Suns, and Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA, as well as in the NBA G League and NBA Summer League.
