Elite League newcomer AO Mykonou added to their roster 30-year old Greek 205cm center Petros Melissaratos for season 2024-25. Melissaratos played this summer at Brampton in Canadian CEBL. In 14 games just recently he recorded 3.9ppg, 3.6rpg and 1.4apg. The last season he played at Milonas in Greek Elite League where in 33 games he averaged 8.8ppg, 6.1rpg and 2.2apg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. Good season as he was voted League Player of the Week and selected to Eurobasket.com All-Greek Elite League Third Team.
Melissaratos was a member of Greek U20 National Team back in 2013.
He has played previously for eight other Greek teams: Peristeri, Panionios, Papagou, Alimos, Panelefsiniakos, Kastoria, Psychikou and Nea Kifissia. Melissaratos played in the final of Greek A2 Play-Off in 2019 and 2022. He was voted to Eurobasket.com Greek A2 All-Defensive Team back in 2019, 2020 and 2021.
Melissaratos was a member of Greek U20 National Team back in 2013.
