Tourcoing SM (NM2) agreed terms with 22-year old point guard Ismael Kherzane (186cm-2002). It is actually his comeback to Tourcoing as he has played here before. Kherzane played last season at Union Rennes Basket 35 in the NM1. NM1 was a little too high level for him, where in 23 games he had just 0.6ppg, 1.0rpg and 1.3apg. NM2 will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time.
Part of previous (2022-23) season he spent at Lille Metropole Basket Red Giants (ProB). NM1 was a little too high level for him, where in 10 games he recorded only 0.8ppg in that year. He also played for Tourcoing SM that season.
Kherzane has played previously for Gravelines.
