Professional Golfer Achieves Hole-in-One, Earns Prize of Three Days at Pebble Beach Golf Resort

Golfer sinks a hole-in-one and wins three days at Pebble Beach!

Rory McIlroy celebrates his hole in one

Many of us dream of scoring a hole-in-one.

But for one New Jersey golfer, the realisation of that much-desired feat was worth so much more than the customary photo with the flagstick.

With a three-day trip to famed Pebble Beach on offer for an ace, Andrew Ferrara stepped up to the 11th hole, a signature par three at the Crystal Springs Golf Resort in Hamburg, New Jersey.

“That is perfect, that could be a trip for all of us,” he said as he flushed the ball from high off the elevated tee box straight into the cup.

As he and his playing partners raced down the slope to confirm the ball had dropped in, they were jumping with joy as their trip to the renowned Pebble Beach Golf Links in California was confirmed.

Following his heroics, Ferrara, who is clearly a man of the people, cried “drinks on me” as he basked in the glory of his 145-yard ace.

The team captured the elation from the strike of his 9-iron all the way to the retrieval of his ball from the hole, the group bouncing like kids on Christmas Day.

For the average golfer, the prospect of sinking a hole-in-one gets us licking our lips whenever we tee up on a short par three.

But to earn a three-day stay at Pebble Beach, the host of five US Opens and the top-rated public course in the USA, is something that not even Ferrara would have dreamed of.

With prices for a round at the resort starting at $625 a head plus a nightly rate, the fortunate quartet will be flying from east coast to west to live every golfer’s dream weekend both on and off the course.

The beauty of the iconic venue in Monterrey is its combination of a challenging yet playable golf course with stunning ocean views of the West Coast.

As Ferrara steps up to Pebble’s legendary 7th hole, a 106-yard par three and the shortest in championship golf, he will be eager to see if lightning strikes twice.
