The site will serve as the team's practice facility and will include three outdoor football fields, a 150,000-square-foot field house with one-and-a-half indoor football fields, a three-story office area, and a 50,000-square-foot performance center.

Despite some optimism heading into the 2023 season, the Las Vegas Raiders were unable to make as big a splash as they wanted.

They did end the year with eight wins, but with the Kansas City Chiefs continuing to dominate the AFC West, eight wins wasn’t enough for them to win the division.

The Raiders have been tinkering with their roster throughout the offseason to try and find the best possible solutions to help their cause moving forward.

Training Camp is a great time for them to put these plans to the test, but it’s difficult to make that happen when key players are not on the field.

According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston, Darien Butler, Jacob Johanning, and Jackson Powers-Johnson have all been placed on the PUP list.

While some might see this as a long-term setback for the Raiders, with any luck, it could only be a minor blow.

During Training Camp, players can come off the PUP list, but it is much more serious during the regular season, as they have to sit out four games after being put on the list.

With these players sidelined at the moment, the Raiders will have to rely on other players to step up in their absence, hoping they can still get on the right track ahead of the season.

The AFC is proving to be an incredibly difficult conference, and with teams only getting stronger in the offseason, the Raiders will have their work cut out for them if they want to make the postseason in 2024.
