The Las Vegas Raiders have been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons lately, with superstar wide receiver Davante Adams seemingly letting it be known that he wants to be traded rather than continue playing for the storied franchise.

Although Adams adamantly denied any desire to be traded by the Raiders during the NFL offseason, that stance appears to have changed and it seems as though the team is ready to grant that request as soon as they find a trade with another team that is worth doing.

In the meantime, the Raiders seem to be a sinking ship, with the team coming off one of their worst losses of the season to the division-rival Denver Broncos on the road at Empower Field at Mile High.

Along with losing to a bitter rival, the Raiders are going through some changes, with Aidan O’Connell getting the nod as the new starter under center in place of veteran Gardner Minshew and the team losing star defensive tackle Christian Wilkins to an injury, forcing the team to put him on injured reserve.

According to the Raiders PR X account, the team has placed Wilkins on injured reserve while signing defensive tackle Marquan McCall to the practice squad.

At this point, the Raiders’ season seems to be spiraling out of control, and it is impossible to tell if Maxx Crosby and company can get back on track and keep their playoff hopes alive.

It remains to be seen how things will pan out for the Raiders, as it appears to be another drama-filled season for the Silver and Black.
