The Houston Texans were one of the worst teams in the NFL in 2022.
They couldn’t seem to find a rhythm in the post-Deshaun Watson era, and many thought this team was doomed for the foreseeable future.
However, they made a remarkable turnaround in 2023, not only making the playoffs but winning their division to get there.
There have been many reasons given for the Texans changing the tides, but their front office and C.J. Stroud have been commonly noted as the most impactful.
Randall Cobb, who formerly played for the Texans, gave his take on the situation in a recent appearance on “Bussin’ With The Boys,” a podcast with some former NFL players.
Cobb saw what things were like when they were deep in the mire and has also seen the changes the team has made lately, which includes the hiring of GM Nick Caserio.
Reporter Nick Schwager shared a clip on Twitter of Cobb’s answer, who said, “The first time I met Caserio, I knew he’s the guy, he’s going to fix this place.”

It was very clear to Cobb that Caserio was going to be a better fit for the organization.
He has done a miraculous job over the past year, and now, the Texans are seen as a contender in the AFC.
After a lot of struggles as a franchise, it is clear that the Texans are headed in the right direction.
Can they find a way to break through and beat the top teams in the conference when it matters most?
