Randy Moss Gives His Stamp of Approval for Joe Burrow to Adopt His Iconic Celebration

Randy Moss Endorses Joe Burrow To Use His Famous Celebration

Ever since superstar quarterback Joe Burrow broke into the NFL a few years ago, when the Cincinnati Bengals drafted him out of Louisiana State University, he has taken the league by storm with his impressive play on the gridiron and his calm demeanor and personality off of it.

Besides being one of the elite quarterbacks in the league with a potentially bright future ahead if he can stay healthy and productive, Burrow likes to let his personality shine on the field and might bring back an old touchdown celebration made famous by a Hall of Famer.

Apparently, Burrow has let it be known that if he scores a rushing touchdown next season, that might bring this old touchdown celebration from legendary wide receiver Randy Moss back to life, where he pretends to moon the camera and the fans.

On a recent episode of Up & Adams with Kay Adams, Moss was asked about Burrow possibly bringing this old touchdown celebration back to life, and he seems to be all for it.

“I’d love to see it,” Moss said.

If Burrow intends to honor Moss with this throwback from 2005, he better have his checkbook handy because the NFL fined the Minnesota Vikings superstar wideout $10,000 for the celebration almost 20 years ago, which means it could be significantly more if done in the league today.

Only time will tell if Burrow is brave enough to make the move after scoring a touchdown, as he will almost certainly have the opportunity to do so at some point during the 2024 campaign with the Bengals.
