After securing the top seed in the AFC with the NFL’s best record of 13-4, the Baltimore Ravens headed into the NFL playoffs as arguably the team to beat and the favorite to win the Super Bowl, as the franchise seemed ready to win a title with superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson leading the way.

The Ravens were absolutely stacked offensively as they outscored their opponents by 203 points during the NFL regular season and saw the resurgence of Jackson, who struggled with injuries the last few years.

Jackson was so good during the 2023 regular season that he turned a lot of heads throughout the year and went on to win his second NFL MVP award.

Unfortunately for Baltimore, the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs turned out to be too much to handle when they faced off in the AFC Championship Game, which ended a year in which the Ravens seemed destined to win it all.

Along with the offense getting a boost with the signing of veteran running back Derrick Henry, the team also brought in cornerback Eddie Jackson, and it appears corner Marlon Humphrey has been hard at work transforming his body, losing 10 pounds ahead of training camp via Jamison Hensley of ESPN.

With the Ravens proving to be a juggernaut last season with a rejuvenated Jackson leading the charge, Baltimore could be the team to beat heading into the 2024 campaign, with players like Humphrey buying in.

It’ll be interesting to see if things come together for the Ravens this year and if they end up being the team to beat in the AFC once again.
