De Minaur Too Good For Medvedev

Alex de Minaur reached his first Roland Garros quarter-final by overcoming Daniil Medvedev in four sets. The victory marked his first appearance in the quarter-finals at the French Open and made him the first Australian man to achieve this feat since Lleyton Hewitt in 2004.

Despite a strong start from Medvedev, De Minaur turned the match around midway through the second set and dominated the remainder of the contest. His victory was a testament to his form and determination on clay courts.

Djokovic Makes Another Epic Comeback

Novak Djokovic staged another epic comeback against Francisco Cerundolo, winning in five sets after trailing by two sets to one and facing a knee issue. Djokovic’s resilience and fighting spirit were on full display as he battled through the discomfort to secure a spot in the quarter-finals.

This victory marked a milestone for Djokovic, surpassing Roger Federer for the most Grand Slam match wins in men’s singles history. However, his participation in the quarter-final remains uncertain due to the lingering knee problem.

Zverev Rallies Past Rune

Alexander Zverev fought through a five-set match against Holger Rune to secure his spot in the quarter-finals. Zverev showcased his improved serving skills and mental toughness to overcome Rune in a grueling battle that lasted over four hours.

Zverev’s victory sets up an exciting quarter-final clash as he looks to continue his impressive run at the French Open this year.

Ruud Fends Off Fritz

Casper Ruud triumphed over Taylor Fritz in four sets to advance to the quarter-finals at the French Open. Despite facing a deficit in the first set, Ruud fought back and displayed his resilience to secure the win.

With his sights set on making his third consecutive French Open final, Ruud’s victory positions him just two matches away from achieving his goal.
