The Dallas Cowboys have had quite a disappointing offseason.

They didn’t make any big moves, lost some key players, and didn’t even extend their current stars.

There has been a lot of speculation regarding Dak Prescott’s future, as he’s going to enter the season in the final year of his contract.

The same goes for CeeDee Lamb, who wants to get a big contract extension after being one of the best wide receivers in the game last season.

Fortunately for the fans, it now seems like they’re finally on the right track to get a deal done.

As pointed out by Dianna Russini on her podcast, Lamb stated that he was optimistic because both parties finally seemed to be in a position to reach an agreement.

Lamb is one of the best players in his position, and he’s reportedly looking to get $30 million a year.

The Cowboys also need to take care of Micah Parsons, who’s a lock to become one of the highest-paid players in the league.

That makes it difficult for Jerry Jones to make all the numbers work, particularly if he also wants to keep Prescott around.

Prescott is projected to make $60 million a season, and while he hasn’t proven to be that caliber of player, that’s just the current state of the quarterback market.

The Cowboys are a bit of a question mark right now, and they might be lining up to blow up the roster if things don’t work out next season.

But, for now, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel, at least regarding Lamb.
