During the PGA Tour’s 2024 season, 24 holes exceeded 600 yards in competition, with one nearly reaching 700 yards without the aid of high altitude.
Castle Pines, the site of the BMW Championship, boasts three such holes, a result not surprising given its 6,400-foot elevation.
Other courses with multiple holes over 600 yards include Grand Reserve Club (Puerto Rico Open), TPC San Antonio Oaks Course (Valero Texas Open), Vidanta Vallarta (Mexico Open at Vidanta), and Puntacana Resort and Club Corales Course (Corales Puntacana Championship).
Notably, the U.S. Open and the Open Championship each featured one such hole, while the Masters and PGA failed to showcase any holes exceeding 600 yards.
