Most of the 12 roster spots on the USA Basketball Team for the Paris Olympics have been filled, as reported by NBA insiders.
The team, aiming for their fifth consecutive Olympic gold in men’s basketball, has selected players such as LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, and more, according to sources close to the athletes.
While the team has not officially announced the lineup, these names have been known since September when Team USA experienced a loss in the FIBA World Cup.
Several veteran NBA players, including LeBron James and Steph Curry, have committed to participating in the Paris Games scheduled for July.
Insiders have revealed that Kawhi Leonard is a top contender for the remaining spot on the roster, with other players like Paul George and Mikal Bridges also being considered.
The team’s potential lineup may feature a strong combination of talented players in various positions.
With a total of ten Olympic gold medals between them, the team brings a wealth of experience and success to the court.
Steph Curry, a two-time FIBA World Cup champion, is yet to compete in the Olympics.
