For the last several seasons, all NBA fans have been wondering how much longer they will be able to witness LeBron James on the court.

At 39 years old, he is clearly reaching the end of his career but he could play for a few more seasons before he hangs up his jersey.

On Monday’s “Run It Back,” Lou Williams made a massive prediction: he thinks 2024-25 will be James’ last season in the league.

Williams referenced his time playing with the late Kobe Bryant during his final season.

“I played with Kobe in his last year. He started that season off dead serious. He was prepared to compete, realized that his body wasn’t going to give him everything that he wanted, and it turned into a farewell tour,” Williams said.

If James does decide that next season is his last, fans should expect a farewell tour unlike any other that has come before.

Every single game of the season will be a sold-out show, giving people one last chance to see the four-time champion play.

Many reports have said that James will probably play for a couple more seasons but it wouldn’t be surprising if he decided 2024–25 was his last dance.

He could be playing with his son, Bronny, and will be under the leadership of a new head coach.

As great as James is, there is no doubt that his body is having a tougher time playing against people who are much younger than him.

He has achieved so much and has undoubtedly earned his place in NBA history, so perhaps now is the time to say goodbye.

Williams thinks he will but many others, including millions of Lakers fans, hope he will not.
