You can’t talk about the New England Patriots without talking about Bill Belichick.

The legendary head coach called the shots there for over two decades.

And while he grew a close relationship with some of his favorite players, he never had a reputation for being an approachable, open, or easy-going guy.

However, that didn’t stop another Patriots legend from trying to get on his nerves.

In his recent appearance on Julian Edelman’s podcast, former Patriots OL Matt Light pranked his coach in a memorable way.

Apparently, he switched his mouse with a prank mouse that shocked you every single time you touched it.

Belichick touched it twice, with the second time making him delete his notes.

Light arrived at the facility, and Patriots executive Berj Najarian let him know that what he did was not okay (via MLFootball).

Coach Belichick is quite meticulous and obsessive about every tiny detail and kept notes about every single thing, so you know he was livid at the time.

Not many people can brag about getting Belichick that way.

Clearly, they have a good and close relationship to this day.

As for the rest of us mortals, that story just made us have even more respect for one of the best offensive linemen of his generation.
