Fletcher Cox is now retired and will go down in history as one of the most accomplished defenders in the Philadelphia Eagles’ long and storied history.
And retirement appears to be agreeing with No. 91.
Cox came into the NFL with a powerful 6 foot 4 inch, 310-pound physique, and he battered opposing offenses throughout his 12-year career.
Now away from the game, Cox has had time to relax and enjoy other pursuits, which apparently include fishing.
Eagles Nation posted a picture of the suddenly trimmed-down ex-defender holding an impressive catch on the back of a boat.
The site noted that Cox lost a considerable amount of weight since leaving his NFL workout regimen.

The standout defender was named to six Pro Bowls in his illustrious career and was a First-Team AP All-Pro selection after the 2018 campaign.
He recorded an impressive 70 sacks, 88 tackles for a loss, and 14 fumble recoveries in his playing days.
Cox also had the rare honor of suiting up for only one team in his entire 12-year career, and his 188 regular season games with Philadelphia are a record for defensive linemen and the third-highest among all players to wear the uniform.
Interestingly, the Eagles made a trade in the 2012 first round to move up three spots and select Cox with the No. 12 pick.
This turned out to be an act of genius that paid dividends for over a decade.
Highlights of his career include being a key member of the 2017 Super Bowl Championship Team and helping lead his club back to the title game in 2022.
