The Kansas City Chiefs are possibly on the verge of history this season. They have won three Super Bowls in the last five seasons and have won back-to-back titles. This means that they could be the first team in NFL history to win three Super Bowls in a row. Former Super Bowl champion and current Fox Sports analyst Plaxico Burress believes that is exactly what they will do. “These guys are sitting on the brink of something historic…They are going to accomplish something that nobody has ever done,” Burress recently said on The Carton Show.

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes and head coach Andy Reid have formed a duo that is so dominant on offense. Not to mention the fact that they have arguably the greatest tight end at their disposal in All-Pro Travis Kelce. With a brilliant defensive mind in defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo calling the shots on that side of the ball, this team is very complete. In the last six seasons, they have either played in the AFC Championship Game or the Super Bowl. Last season, it felt like they were going to have a down year after winning only 11 games. If Kansas City doesn’t make it to at least the AFC Championship Game this year, it would be a shocker. That is how good they have been.
