Before superstar wide receiver Antonio Brown teamed up with Tom Brady on the New England Patriots for one game during the 2018 NFL season, the future Hall of Famer was a part of the then-Oakland Raiders organization following being traded by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The acquisition of Brown was thought to be a game-changer for the struggling Raiders as they’d have a legitimate superstar at the wide receiver, who had earned seven Pro Bowl selections and All-Pro honors four times before being dealt to Oakland.
Unfortunately for the Raiders, Brown never officially suited up for the storied franchise as he became a problem off the field, which led to a downward spiral for arguably one of the best wideouts the league had ever seen.
During an appearance on The Rush Podcast with Maxx Crosby, Richie Incognito opened up about the Brown fiasco and how he was hoping the superstar was going to eventually sport the Silver and Black.

Incognito thinks that if Brown had been on the team to start the season, the Raiders would’ve had a potent offense with a true No. 1 wide receiver on the team and a consistent target for then-starting quarterback Derek Carr.
Although it seemed like a brilliant idea at the time to bring in Brown, the Raiders were likely better off that they got rid of him when they did, as he became nothing more than a distraction for every team he played for after that, leading to a disappointing end to what was considered an incredible NFL career.
