We are just hours away from what promises to be one of the most star-studded NFL Drafts ever, and fans can hardly wait for it to start.

This year’s draft class is loaded with potential-laden wide receivers, offensive linemen, and quarterbacks, and there are a number of signal-callers who aren’t getting much press but could turn out to be good NFL players.

Former QB Robert Griffin III said that Jordan Travis from Florida State is “supremely underappreciated.”

Travis has gotten little attention, as most people have been talking about Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, Drake Maye, and J.J. McCarthy, as well as, to a lesser extent, Bo Nix and Michael Penix Jr.

He threw for 2,734 yards and 20 touchdowns last season, and scouts seem to have numerous concerns about him.

At 6-foot-1 and just over 200 pounds, he lacks ideal size for the QB position at the next level, and while he has decent quickness and mobility, his arm strength is lacking.

Even worse, he suffered a broken leg in November that ended his season, and one has to wonder how that will impact him as the 2024 NFL season approaches.

Travis ended up playing a total of four seasons for the Florida State Seminoles after spending his first season of college football with the Louisville Cardinals.

At this point, Travis is expected to be nothing more than a backup quarterback in the pros.

However, surprises do happen in the draft — after all, Tom Brady was a sixth-round pick, and Brock Purdy was “Mr. Irrelevant” in 2022.
