The Washington Commanders came into Week 6 facing arguably their toughest challenge of the 2024 NFL regular season thus far, taking on the title-contending Baltimore Ravens and reigning NFL MVP Lamar Jackson.

Although this matchup would’ve been considered a potential blowout heading into the season, with so many questions about whether the Commanders would be on the right track with rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels leading the way, Washington came into this game confident they could pull off the upset.

Unfortunately for Washington, the Commanders fell short in this game against the Ravens, but not by much, as they were able to keep up with arguably one of the best teams in the league from start to finish.

The most impressive part of this game was the Commanders making it close in the final stretch, as they outscored the Ravens in the fourth quarter, 10-3.

Despite the loss for Washington, which is only their second defeat of the season, Daniels continues to get a lot of buzz for what he’s been able to do on the football field, with Robert Griffin III being the latest to sing his praises on X.

Even though this statement by Griffin may appear bold at first glance, the former Heisman Trophy winner might be right because the Commanders continue to fire on all cylinders and may be able to win the NFC East division title if they can keep it up moving forward.

The Commanders will look to bounce back next week as they will host the lowly Carolina Panthers at Northwest Stadium.
