The Open Championship of 2024 boasts the largest representation of players from LIV Golf in any major tournament this year. A total of 18 golfers from LIV are competing in the British Open, with notable past winners including Henrik Stenson (2016), Cameron Smith (2022), and Louis Oosthuizen (2010).
Despite Bryson DeChambeau’s recent victory at the U.S. Open, his hopes for the Claret Jug were dampened by an opening round score of 76. Nonetheless, the LIV Golf contingent at Royal Troon is strong, with 11 players making the cut to play on the weekend.
