Russell Westbrook was not pleased about being placed on the bench for the LA Clippers following the acquisition of James Harden. Clippers front office executive Lawrence Frank had to persuade Westbrook to embrace the sixth-man role for LA.
Westbrook holds a $4 million player option for the upcoming season. It is likely that the seasoned point guard will decline that option in search of a more favorable opportunity elsewhere.
