The past couple of NFL seasons have been a bit of a wild ride for Russell Wilson and Ciara.
The league’s strongest power couple uprooted and left Seattle after he was traded from the Seahawks to the Denver Broncos, and they got to get on the road again after a failed two-year stint at Mile High.
Wilson joined the Pittsburgh Steelers early in the offseason, and he’ll look to prove that he’s still got plenty left in the tank.
Needless to say, he’s going to have his better half right by his side and rooting for him.
It’s been eight years since Wilson and Ciara tied the knot, and the former Super Bowl champion took to Twitter to send her a heartwarming anniversary message, vowing to love her until the end of time.
Celebrating 8 years of God’s love & grace over us @Ciara! Since we met, you’ve been my strength in every trial. My joy in every moment. My peace in every prayer. God blessed me with the most incredible gift in you! I am so grateful for our journey together. Here’s to a lifetime… pic.twitter.com/5yrEVtGDjK

The past two seasons have been brutal for Wilson.
After failed stints with both the Seahawks and the Broncos, and he’ll look to get his career back on track in Pittsburgh.
The Steelers have one of the best coaches and defenses in the game, and they should be right in the mix for a postseason berth next season, even though they play in arguably the most competitive division in the entire league.
Wilson will also face some steep competition for touches, as Justin Fields will also look to get his spot.
That kind of competition might finally bring the best out of him again.
But even if that’s not the case, he’s already won off the field with the beautiful household he’s built alongside his wife.
