Ryan Clark Claims Dak Prescott Is Not As Disappointing in Playoffs as Another Quarterback

Ryan Clark Says 1 QB Is More Disappointing In Playoffs Than Dak Prescott

For years, Dak Prescott has failed to lead the Dallas Cowboys to any sort of success in the playoffs. It’s reached a point where it seems like even Jerry Jones is having doubts about whether he can lead the team to the mountaintop.

And while he’s had some good games in the past, not many people around the league seem to think of him as a top-tier quarterback. That’s why, when compared to him, Lamar Jackson may have been a more disappointing postseason performer.

At least, that’s how Ryan Clark feels. Talking on ESPN’s First Take, the former player stated that expectations have always been higher for Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens, which is why he’s more disappointing than Prescott.

Per Clark, no one wants Jackson to elevate his level of play from the regular season because he’s shown what he’s capable of, so it’s not like he has to do more in the playoffs; he has to do the same. Simply put, he pretty much stated that no one seems to trust Prescott anyway, so it’s not surprising to see him fail.

Jackson, on the other hand, is considered to be a superstar, so it’s always a big disappointment when he falls short. That actually makes sense, as they’re clearly not on the same tier, so one shouldn’t have the same expectations for them.

If anything, people could even be surprised if Prescott finally gets over the hump, but in Jackson’s case, he should’ve never struggled in the playoffs to begin with.
