She will face Jasmine Paolini, who defeated Elina Avanesyan in a come-from-behind victory to secure her first Grand Slam quarter-final berth. Aryna Sabalenka also secured her spot in the quarter-finals after defeating Emma Navarro. Sabalenka, a semi-finalist at Roland Garros last year, avenged her loss to Navarro earlier this season to move to the next round where she will face off against Mirra Andreeva.
