The New York Giants made a surprising decision this offseason when they cut ties with Saquon Barkley.

Barkley has been the face of the franchise since he entered the league, a dominant figure in their rushing attack.

Despite playing well last year, Barkley and the Giants were unable to come to a new contract, and he has now signed a deal with the Philadelphia Eagles.

After hearing this news, Giants fans have expressed their frustration with Barkley leaving the team, especially since he left to join their long-standing rivals.

Barkley responded to one of these comments on Twitter, saying, “I can’t bail or become a traitor if I never got an offer to some back.”

He also added, “So I went to the organization I felt that was the best and after being here for a month man I’m excited to be an Eagle.”

Barkley might have made an enemy of Giants fans, but at least he is happy and excited to be with his new team moving forward.

It will be interesting to see the Giants’ rushing attack this season, especially since they haven’t made any substantial moves to replace Barkley.

They did add Devin Singletary to the roster, who presents as their RB1 but doesn’t have the high upside that Barkley possesses.

The Giants have struggled to gain traction for the past several years, and they are trying to do everything possible to get back on track, find stability, and be competitive within the NFC East.
