The Philadelphia Eagles are sitting at a record of 4-2 with a game against the Cincinnati Bengals on tap this weekend.
They would not be 4-2 without the help of Pro Bowl running back Saquon Barkley.
Barkley has 658 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns through just six games.
Right now, he is one of the best players in the league and is feeling the love from the fans of the City of Brotherly Love.
According to Barkley himself (via Eagles insider Jeff McLane), he has felt the love from Eagles fans since the day he signed with the team.
Saquon Barkley, sporting a “Philadelphia City of Brotherly Love” cap,” has felt the local love since his 176-yard rushing performance vs. the Giants.

It is always neat to see a great player come over to a new team and feel the love from the city almost immediately.
Barkley has found a way to win over the hearts of Eagles fans despite being a former Giant.
Even though there is an arsenal of weapons that head coach Nick Sirianni’s offense has, Barkley seems to be the clear focal point.
The former Offensive Rookie of the Year has had 19+ touches in five of his six games played this season.
He has also recorded over 100 scrimmage yards in five of the team’s first games.
If the Eagles can find a way to beat the Bengals on Sunday afternoon on the road, they will be sitting at a solid record of 5-2 and in firm playoff contention in the NFC.
Without the play of the former Penn State Nittany Lion in Barkley, this might not be the case this year for Philly.
