A few months ago, star running back Saquon Barkley made a big change when he left the New York Giants and headed down I-95 to sign with the Philadelphia Eagles in free agency.
But that isn’t the only move he has made this offseason.
Per Boardroom, he has filed for a trademark on the term “Saquads,” and he plans to use the term on numerous types of merch, including apparel and coffee mugs.
The newest Philadelphia Eagle intends to use the trademark for athletic apparel, coffee mugs, and more, per @JoshGerben.

The Eagles are counting on Barkley to augment a team that looked to be a favorite to win the Super Bowl championship last season, but instead fell apart at the seams.
After winning 10 of their first 11 games, they lost five of their last six games of the regular season, which included back-to-back blowout setbacks at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys.
They then got trounced in the wild-card round of the playoffs by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a team that won just nine regular season games.
While Barkley, a two-time Pro Bowler, should make Philly’s offense better and more unpredictable, defense was their big problem in 2023.
They finished near the bottom of the NFL in several defensive statistical categories, and as a result, changes have been made.
Playcalling duties were re-assigned from Sean Desai to Matt Patricia during the year, and now they have a new defensive coordinator in Vic Fangio.
Linebacker Haason Reddick was traded to the New York Jets, while Bryce Huff, an emerging defensive end who had 10.0 sacks last year, has come in to bolster the Eagles’ pass rush.
