After splitting the first four games of the 2024 NFL season, superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets have headed overseas to play Week 5’s game against the undefeated Minnesota Vikings in London, England.

This will be an important game for the Jets, as the team is coming off its worst loss of the season to the Denver Broncos, who beat New York with their rookie quarterback Bo Nix throwing for only 60 yards in Week 4.

The Broncos’ defense was all over the Jets’ offense last week, with Rodgers looking helpless under center while being constantly under siege on every snap he took, resulting in the team only scoring three field goals, which wasn’t enough to top Denver’s 10 points.

In Week 5, the Jets will face a formidable opponent in Justin Jefferson’s Vikings, as well as dealing with the experience of playing overseas and the impact that can have on their bodies, as well as the culture shock of playing in a different country.

Star wide receiver Garrett Wilson has been dealing with that distinction difference in London, as he was unaware that they drive on the other side of the road, which legitimately scared him while on a bus, according to Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic.

The Jets are underdogs coming into this matchup, and understandably so, as it will be interesting to see if the Jets can hold up against arguably the best team in the league.
