Paul Scholes Slams Man Utd’s “Upsetting” Performance At Palace
Paul Scholes, who won 11 Premier League titles with Manchester United, criticized his former club’s performance against Palace, describing it as a “disappointing” showing from the 20-time English champions. He also criticized the lack of effort from the team in preventing Palace from scoring.
Speaking to Premier League Productions, Scholes said (via Manchester Evening News):
“A very disappointing performance. Even though there are several key players missing, it was evident that one team was well-prepared and the other was easily exploitable
“It was tough to watch – players like Casemiro and Christian Eriksen, who have been top performers in the past, seemed to struggle on the pitch. It’s disheartening to see players of their caliber not performing at the expected level.”
United, currently in eighth place, will face Arsenal in their next Premier League match on May 12.
