The Denver Broncos headed into the 2024 NFL season with questions surrounding the quarterback position, as they had three quarterbacks on the roster who could arguably start for other teams.

Instead of going with veteran Jarrett Stidham, head coach Sean Payton chose rookie Bo Nix as the starter, a surprising and bold move.

With a record of 4-3 after seven games, the Broncos seem to be thriving under Nix’s leadership.

Teams have shown interest in trading for Stidham and Zach Wilson, the backup quarterbacks, according to Payton via Zac Stevens of DNVR Sports.

The NFL trade deadline is approaching on Nov. 5, and the Broncos may capitalize on the opportunity to address other needs on the roster by trading one of their backup quarterbacks.

In his seven games as a starter, Nix has thrown for 1,246 yards, five touchdowns, and five interceptions, with 255 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns.

While Nix’s stats are not exceptional, Payton and the team believe in his potential for a bright future in Denver.
