Selecting the Best Starting XI for the US Men’s National Team against Brazil

Choose the USMNT starting XI against Brazil

The USMNT will look to rebound against one of the best teams in the world (Brazil) following their 5-1 loss to Colombia. This is the last USMNT game before their Copa América game against Bolivia. Now, the question is, who should start?

Should Matt Turner keep his place in goal after a woeful outing, or should Ethan Horvath get a look instead? Who partners Chris Richards at centerback – and how many centerbacks should start? Do you run Joe Scally out at right back again, or pull someone like Tim Weah or Weston McKennie out of position? Who gets left out in the midfield – Tyler Adams, Yunus Musah, Johnny Cardoso, Malik Tillman? Can Haji Wright find a spot in the front three? And does Balogun get another shot at the 9, or are you bringing in Ricardo Pepi, or Josh Sargent (still not in training as of this morning)?

The choice is yours! Make your picks, and then hit the comments to let us know what other thoughts you have about it! Our last lineup poll got 565 responses – let’s see if we can get even more this time! Looking forward to seeing the results.
