Seven last-second withdrawals have led to a wide open draw at Ningbo, China this week.

Anastasia Potapova (GI Illness), Ekaterina Alexandrova (right shoulder injury), Emma Navarro (illness), Jasmine Paolini (Left foot injury), Luidmila Samsonova (undisclosed), Yafan Wang [WC] (lower back injury) and Zheng Qinwen have all pulled out of the 28-player field, giving seven lucky losers a chance to make waves in a WTA 500 draw.

Barbora Krejcikova, seeded fourth, is the highest-ranked remaining player in the draw.

The Czech will face Lucky Loser Yexin Ma in the second round.

Fifth-seeded Daria Kasatkina and eighth-seeded Paula Badosa have already reached the quarterfinals, along with Yulia Putintseva and Mirra Andreeva.

Ma and Lucky Loser Jaqueline Cristian (who replaced second-seeded Zheng) are the only lucky losers still remaining in the draw. Cristian will face Karolina Muchova on Thursday.
