Shannon Sharpe Responds to Controversial Instagram Live Moment: Watch the Video

Sharpe

Shannon Sharpe has addressed the very intimate Instagram video that went live on his account on Wednesday.

It appears his phone accidentally went live during a sexual act, though Sharpe has claimed he was hacked.

Although no one can be viewed in the video, there were some sounds.

A woman can be heard moaning in the videos and she also seems to say Sharpe’s name at one point.

The video started with the camera pointed toward at what is likely the ceiling in the room before the camera turned over and faced down for the rest of the video.

The ESPN personality has over 3.2 million followers on Instagram, so its safe to say plenty of people saw the video.

Many fans were trolling in the comments as the video was playing out.

“Hang up the phone Big Unc,” one commenter said.

“UNC trippin right now,” another person said.

Shannon deleted the video, then put out a statement about it.

“Beware my @shannonsharpe84 Instagram was hacked this morning, my team and I are working vigorously to figure this out — UNC,” the statement read

However, shortly after posting the statement, Sharpe deleted it too.

Although there’s no telling, many fans are questioning why Sharpe chose to say he was hacked.

“Saying he was hacked is ridiculous,” @JayLeesCorner wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “That man was f—ing and his phone went live. It’s not a big deal. But now we all know that when Shannon climax [sic] he growls. So there’s that…But it’s just sex, it’s not a crime.”
