Shedeur Sanders Says He's A Mixture Of 2 NFL Legends

The 2024 NFL Draft was one for the record books.

Six quarterbacks were selected in the first 12 picks, a record that isn’t likely to be broken in the near future.

This year’s class was said to be one of the deepest in recent history, and with many teams looking for a new franchise QB, they were more than willing to take a swing at one of this year’s prospects.

While this year had a lot of options, the 2025 class isn’t looking as deep.

However, college athletes have a chance to improve their draft stock over the next year, including Shadeur Sanders, who hopes he’ll be a top pick next year.

Sanders was recently interviewed by Complex Sports, as shared in a Twitter video by a fan (JaKiTruth).

When asked if his game resembles Tom Brady or Michael Vick, Sanders said, “I’ll say it’s a mixture. That’s why I’m special, what I bring to the table. I want to stay in the pocket like Tom, but sometimes those opportunities aren’t there.”

Sanders, of course, is the son of Deion Sanders, one of the most prolific athletes in NFL history.

If he’s as good of a quarterback as he says, he could certainly take the league by storm in the 2025 season.

He’ll have to make it through his final year of college, hoping to put up some massive numbers at the University of Colorado, where he plays for his father.

Sanders has talked a big game to this point.

Can he deliver on these promises, especially since he compared himself to Vick and Brady?
