The National Football League has become a quarterback’s league now more than ever.

It’s never been unusual to see quarterbacks steal the show in the first round of the NFL Draft, and that trend isn’t likely to change any time soon.

Considering that, most scouts expect Shedeur Sanders to be the No. 1 pick in the upcoming edition of the NFL Draft.

However, unlike what has happened other times, such as this year with Caleb Williams, he’s still not the consensus and undisputed best player in the class.

With that in mind, when asked about what he could do to prove to scouts that he was worthy of that honor, he had one word and one word only: Win (via College Sports on SiriusXM).

He talked about how much evaluators care about winning, so he’s got to help Colorado win to prove that he’s as good as advertised — if not more.

Shedeur knows he also has to work on his game as he’s not a finished product yet, but at the end of the day, it’s all about winning.

That’s the kind of mindset that made his father the legend he is.

Being the son of Deion Sanders granted Shedeur plenty of attention, but he’s also earned praise on the field.

Some thought he could’ve been a first-round pick had he declared for the 2024 NFL Draft, but he had different plans.

Deion thought he would benefit from another year in college, and he could now be looking at becoming the first-overall selection.
