Earlier this month, former WNBA player Sheryl Swoopes attempted to undermine Caitlin Clark’s pursuit of the all-time scoring record in NCAA women’s basketball, using false information. However, Clark has since broken the record.

On Gilbert Arenas’ podcast, where complaints about successful white European players were discussed, Swoopes criticized Clark’s achievements.

This led to speculation, with Dan Dakich, Jason Whitlock, and others questioning if racial bias influenced Swoopes’ denunciation of the straight white female basketball player.
