Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner have been drawn into the same half of the Wimbledon’s men’s singles draw, while Novak Djokovic is in the lower half.

All was revealed on Friday morning at the All England Club as the 128-player field for this year’s Championships was announced.

In an exciting twist, Sinner has been drawn to potentially face former Wimbledon finalist Matteo Berrettini in the second round. Berrettini will face Hungary’s Marton Fucsovics in his opener, while top-seeded Sinner takes on Germany’s Yannik Hanfmann.

Third-seeded Alcaraz, the defending champion, will begin his Wimbledon title defense with Estonian qualifier Mark Lajal. Alcaraz is slated to face either Sebastian Ofner or Aleksandar Vukic in the second round, and he could potentially face Matteo Arnaldi or Frances Tiafoe in the third round.

Alcaraz and Sinner could meet in the semifinals – the Italian took their lone meeting at Wimbledon in 2022, defeating Alcaraz in the round of 16. Alcaraz holds the 5-4 lifetime edge against his rival, overall, including a win over the Italian in the semifinals at Roland-Garros this year.

Seven-time Wimbledon champion Djokovic will face Czech qualifier Vit Kopriva in the first round.

The 37-year-old could face 30th-seeded Tomas Martin Etcheverry in the third round and either 15th-seeded Holger Rune or 21st-seeded Karen Khachanov in the round of 16.

If Djokovic, who had surgery to repair the meniscus in his right knee on June 5th, makes the quarterfinals, his potential opponent would be 7th-seeded Hubert Hurkacz of Poland.

Here’s how the quarterfinals shape up at Wimbledon, if the seeds hold:
