The Sixers might delay getting another star player until the offseason, as per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. During the “NBA on ESPN” show, Wojnarowski mentioned that Philadelphia is inclined to keep its cap space intact for the upcoming summer.

The plan is to then actively pursue a high-salary player through a trade or free agency. For the current season, the Sixers are leaning towards making a less flashy move instead.

Wojnarowski highlighted the Sixers’ mindset when they traded for James Harden with the Clippers.
