According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Philadelphia 76ers are set to sign forward/center Kai Jones to a 10-day contract starting Friday. Jones, who was the 19th overall pick in the 2021 draft, recently underwent a workout with the Sixers.
Despite his limited playing time and modest statistics in his first two NBA seasons, Jones showcased a more prominent role and impressive stats while playing for the Greensboro Swarm, the Charlotte Hornets’ G League affiliate, from 2021 to 2023.
