Skip Bayless Calls 1 NFL Team An ‘Undisciplined Mess’ Sunday

Coming into the AFC Championship Game at M&T Bank Stadium, the top-seeded Baltimore Ravens were the favorites to advance to the Super Bowl, with the consensus being that Lamar Jackson and company were the better all-around team in comparison to Patrick Mahomes’ Kansas City Chiefs.

On Sunday, that didn’t turn out to be the case, with the Chiefs clearly being the better battle-tested team when compared to the Ravens, as Baltimore had no answer for Kansas City on either side of the football.

Although the Ravens were able to keep the game relatively close, as it was a one or two-possession game for most of the contest, Jackson couldn’t lead this team to victory as he clearly had trouble dealing with the pressure in big moments during the game.

Following the playoff collapse by the Ravens on Sunday, Skip Bayless of FOX Sports took to Twitter to criticize Baltimore for self-destructing and being undisciplined in such a big game.

“Ravens have self-destructed into an undisciplined mess,” Bayless said.

Even though Bayless can be quite harsh in his immediate reaction to wins and losses in the NFL, he’s not wrong when bashing the Ravens for this performance, as this team looked completely different than the squad that dominated the competition all season long.

It all boils down to Jackson and the favorite to be named NFL MVP folding when the team needed him the most, as a lot of his decisions on the field were questionable, especially throwing into triple coverage in the end zone with the game on the line.
