The New York Jets were hoping to right the ship heading into the 2024 NFL season after a disastrous 2023 campaign, during which the newly acquired superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered a season-ending Achilles injury in Week 1 against the division-rival Buffalo Bills.

Fortunately for the Jets, Rodgers fully recovered from his injury, which has been known to end many NFL careers, and has looked good in the two wins for the team in the first four weeks, even though the team hasn’t been very sharp thus far.

Heading into Week 5, the Jets had to go overseas to take on their toughest challenge yet against the undefeated Minnesota Vikings, who many believe could be the best team in the league right now.

Despite putting up a fight against Justin Jefferson and company in London, England, the Jets fell short and suffered their third loss of the season, with everyone starting to jump on Rodgers for his demeanor on the field as he appeared to deflect blame for throwing an interception that essentially ended the game.

Skip Bayless was among the critics who called out Rodgers for his behavior on Sunday.

This isn’t anything new from Rodgers, especially during the last few years of his career, where many believe his skills have started to decline.

The only difference now is that Rodgers is playing in the biggest market in the country, which puts him in the crosshairs for the media in New York, which can be ruthless when critiquing the Jets.
