Chicago Bears fans should be ecstatic right now.

They have the opportunity to land a once-in-a-lifetime kind of player.

And while some people have shown concerns about his demeanor and the way he handles himself, Caleb Williams is the undisputed best prospect in this class.

As a matter of fact, sports analyst Skip Bayless claimed that he would take Williams every single day of the week ahead of Jayden Daniels, adding that he believes he can be like Patrick Mahomes (via Undisputed).

That’s a bold take, but that has also been the most usual comparison.

Williams can make plays with his arm and his legs, and while his final season in college was somewhat underwhelming, he seems to have the whole package when it comes to the modern quarterback.

The Bears have also gone to great lengths to make sure he’s in the best situation possible.

They signed Keenan Allen and D’Andre Swift, and having them plus Cole Kmet and D.J. Moore will give them their best-supporting cast for a quarterback they’ve had in years.

Needless to say, there will be plenty of pressure for the organization and Williams as a player as well.

A lot can go wrong for a young quarterback in this league, and it’s not like the Bears have a long track record of success at developing them.

Then again, whenever a special talent like Williams enters the league, hopes will always be sky-high, even if comparing him to the best quarterback in the game could be a bit of a reach.
