For anyone who is even a little bit familiar with the reputation of FS1’s Skip Bayless, most know that he has never been quiet about his fandom for the Dallas Cowboys.
Bayless might have some bias when it comes to discussing certain Cowboys-related topics, but he’s also not afraid to criticize the team whenever he feels it’s necessary.
Well, it seems that Bayless has reached the point in his Dallas fandom that he’s ready for the team to move on from Dak Prescott and search for a new quarterback.
He had the following to say during a recent episode of “The Skip Bayless Show.”
“Dak ain’t it. He’s not. Three straight years, three straight Dak flameouts in playoff games. We’re the Dallas freaking Cowboys. We deserve better.”

Bayless went on to mention how Prescott’s play on the field doesn’t even come close to some of the Cowboys’ legendary quarterbacks like Roger Staubach and Troy Aikman.
That seems a little unfair since both Staubach and Aikman are members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, but Bayless isn’t one who is known to always be fair with his criticism.
This remained true when he also claimed that the playoff loss to the Green Bay Packers last season by Prescott and Dallas was the “biggest embarrassment in [his] sports-watching life.”
Bayless’ comments might be viewed as a little bit over the top, but the main point he attempted to get across does make sense at least.
Prescott hasn’t shown that he can lead the Cowboys to another championship, so there doesn’t seem to be much of a point in the team keeping him around.
With the quarterback’s contract set to expire in 2025, will next season be his final one in a Cowboys uniform?
