In a commanding performance, Jeremy Sochan’s 31 points and 14 rebounds, along with Victor Wembanyama’s 23 points and 12 rebounds, guided the San Antonio Spurs (9-36) to a 116-100 triumph over the Portland Trail Blazers (13-32) on Friday night.

Despite Anfernee Simons’ impressive 40-point, 10-assist effort for the Trail Blazers, the dynamic duo of Sochan and Wembanyama proved too much for Portland to overcome.

Keldon Johnson added 21 points, and Devin Vassell had 15, as the Spurs secured their fourth win in January, the most in any month this season.
