Cameron Carter-Vickers has played a crucial role in helping Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic edge closer to another league title, sparking interest from several Turkish Super Lig clubs.
A source close to the player confirmed to SBI that Carter-Vickers is attracting attention from Turkey. However, the American defender is content with his current situation at Celtic, as his contract runs until May 2029.
Despite missing some games in the 2023-24 season due to hamstring and knee injuries, Carter-Vickers has returned to top form. He has featured in the last 10 Premiership matches, contributing to Brendan Rodgers’ side holding a six-point lead over rivals Rangers.
Throughout this season, Carter-Vickers has made a total of 29 appearances, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
After initially joining Celtic on loan during the 2021-22 season, Carter-Vickers made his move permanent. Since then, he has won two SPFL titles, two Scottish League Cups, and one FA Cup during his time in Glasgow.
His consistent performances at the club level have also earned Carter-Vickers a place back in the USMNT squad, accumulating a total of 16 caps so far.
Celtic has the opportunity to secure the SPFL title on Wednesday when they face Kilmarnock.
