Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars recently agreed to terms on a massive five-year extension worth $275 million, starting in 2026 and running through 2030.
The talented Pro Bowl quarterback aims to stay healthy this year and lead the Jaguars to a third consecutive winning season, needing to reduce turnovers. Lawrence currently leads the league in turnovers over the last three seasons with 60 according to NFL on CBS.

Lawrence also has just 69 total touchdowns in that span, a number that he will need to improve upon for a successful season. Despite his turnovers, Josh Allen has compensated with 128 total touchdowns. Lawrence must make better decisions on the field.
The former Clemson national champion has the potential to be an elite quarterback in the league. His Pro Bowl season in 2022 showcased his abilities with 4,113 yards, 25 touchdowns, and 8 interceptions.
If Lawrence can replicate those numbers in 2024, the Jaguars, despite the loss of Calvin Ridley and addition of new talent like Brian Thomas Jr. and Gabe Davis, can be a strong competitor in the AFC, especially with key players like Travis Etienne, Evan Engram, and Christian Kirk supporting him.
