Steph Curry & Klay Thompson React to Booing From Home Crowd

Steph Curry & Klay Thompson React to Booing From Home Crowd

The Warriors are not having a good time on the court after dropping to 12th seed in the West following a heavy 141-105 loss to the Pelicans and their star players have reacted to fans booing.

The franchise now has a 17-20 record and have lost six of their last eight games and the Dubs fans let their team hear it after their loss to the Pels at Chase Center.

Curry was asked about the booing from the fans, and after a long time pondering, he finally answered the question.

“We are obviously struggling, there’s nothing to cheer about,” Curry said. “I don’t take it any type of certain way. Honestly, I’m booing myself, our team in my head because of how we’re playing, so it is what it is. Fans are going to react the way that they want. It’s our job to give them something to cheer about, and we have not done that.”

His longtime teammate Klay Thompson was also asked about being booed, but had a completely different reaction to Steph.

“I don’t care,” Thompson said about the fans’ boos, while shrugging. He added, “You supposed to lose sleep over it?”

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr thought that the fans reactions were appropriate, considering the way his team has been playing of late.

“We deserved it, for sure,” Kerr said. “Fell behind immediately. I think we’re just lacking confidence right now. You get to a stage, sometimes, where you just kind of lose your belief. And it happens.

“And that’s what’s happened right now with our team the last few days. I think we’ve just lost the spirit and the confidence that has to carry you against talented teams night in and night out.”

Things aren’t getting any easier for the Warriors, who will now play back-to-back games against the Bulls and Bucks respectively.
