Stephen A. Smith Predicts Timberwolves Victory Over Nuggets

Stephen A. Smith has Timberwolves beating Nuggets

Sports analyst Stephen A. Smith has a favorite in the Eastern Conference semifinals series between the defending champions, the Denver Nuggets, and Minnesota Timberwolves.

Smith picked the Wolves to win the series because of Anthony Edwards, who has just dropped 43 points in Game 1 win.

“I got Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves winning this series. I’ve seen enough,” Smith said on ESPN’s NBA Countdown. “This brother, he is so sensational it is hard to put into words.

“I’ve said it before… MJ, Kobe, Anthony Edwards. It’s not just about the ability. The 33.5 [points per game] that he’s averaging against Denver this season, the 33.4 he’s averaging in this postseason… He is the best two-way guard in the NBA right now.”
