They were going to play golf. Of course, they were. Steve Stricker’s daughters, Bobbi and Izzi, were born into Wisconsin’s first family of golf.
Their dad would win 12 times on the PGA Tour, 17 (and counting) on the PGA Tour Champions and captain Team USA to victory in the 2021 Ryder Cup at Whistling Straits. Their mom, Nicki, played on the University of Wisconsin’s women’s team, which was then coached by her father, Dennis Tiziani, himself a member of the Wisconsin Golf Hall of Fame. Their uncle, Mario Tiziani, was a Wisconsin State Open champion who reached the PGA Tour in 1995.
Golf in the Stricker family isn’t just a game, or the way dad makes his living. It’s a way of life.
